Mapazonia is a small, independent community project. We're happy to answer questions about open mapping, fix mistakes on these pages, or point you toward the right tools and projects for the Amazon region.
The simplest way to reach us is by email: [email protected]. We read everything, though as a volunteer effort it may take us a little while to reply.
Good things to write about
- Corrections. If something on this site is inaccurate or out of date, tell us — accuracy is the whole point.
- Getting started. Stuck on your first edit or unsure which task to pick? Ask away.
- Collaboration. Running a mapathon or community mapping effort in the basin and want it mentioned? Let us know.
Where to actually map
Mapazonia is an educational guide, not a mapping platform. To make edits, you'll work directly in OpenStreetMap and its associated tools. Our contribution guide explains exactly how to begin.
